ACCESS TRAINING
  • Referee

Requirements 
  • Must be 16+ years of age
  • Basketball playing experience is required—either currently or in your past (must know the basic rules of play)
  • Reffing experience or prior training is required

Compensation
Dependent upon experience. 
  • Ex. New referees may start at $8 per 20-min game ~ $20/hour with 2.5 games per hour
  • Site Directors in training will start at $18/hour
  • Contract position (W9), no benefits

STEP ONE

We are always looking to add enthusiastic and assertive people who enjoy basketball, kids, and creating positive, memorable experiences for players and parents.

STEP TWO

Complete Your Online Training
Our online training is expected to take between 45-60 minutes. This includes reading through our rules, watching short training videos, and completing the questionnaire to test your knowledge. You must pass the training with a score of 48/56 before we will reach out for scheduling opportunities. (For referees, Site Directors, and Camp Staff only)
ACCESS TRAINING

STEP THREE

Complete the CDC "Heads Up" Concussion Course
You will be prompted to create a CDC account to begin your training. Once completed, you can upload your certificate into the Online Training portal. We cannot schedule you unless this portion of your training has been received by staff. (For referees, Site Directors, and Camp Staff only)

STEP FOUR

We will reach out with scheduling opportunities. 
Once you pass the online training and submit your "Heads Up" certificate, you will be given access to the Employee Portal. This is where you can submit your availability for the upcoming season. Because we are a small right now, there may not be opportunities to put you to work right away. Once you are scheduled for your shift, we will send you information for W9 and payroll.
